The Golden Mile is Marbella’s most prestigious residential corridor, stretching roughly five kilometres between the centre of Marbella and Puerto Banús along the N-340 coastal road. It has been the address of choice for European royalty, heads of state, and international business figures since the 1950s, when the area first established its reputation for discreet, high-calibre living. The combination of mature pine and palm-lined estates, direct beach access, and proximity to both town and marina gives it a character that no other stretch of the Costa del Sol replicates.

Daily life here centres on the beach clubs of Puente Romano and Marbella Club, both within minutes by car or on foot depending on your position on the Mile. The Marbella Club Golf Resort sits immediately inland. For dining, Nobu Marbella and Cipriani are the established names, while the old town’s Plaza de los Naranjos is a ten-minute drive for more casual options.

Marbella town centre is reachable in under ten minutes by car, and Puerto Banús in roughly the same time in the opposite direction. Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport is approximately 60 kilometres to the northeast, a journey of around 45 to 55 minutes on the AP-7 toll motorway. Gibraltar Airport, useful for certain UK connections, is approximately 80 kilometres to the southwest, around one hour by road.
