The Golden Mile is Marbella’s most established luxury corridor, stretching approximately five kilometres along the coast between Marbella town centre and Puerto Banús. It is defined by grand gated estates, five-star hotels, and low-density residential developments set behind mature gardens and pine trees. The Marbella Club and Puente Romano hotels anchor its social identity, and the area has long been the address of choice for European royalty, international business figures, and serious property investors on the Costa del Sol.

Day-to-day life here centres on the beach clubs and restaurants of Puente Romano, including Nobu Marbella and Cipriani. The Marbella Club beach is a short walk west. Marbella old town, with its Plaza de los Naranjos and covered market, is a ten-minute drive east. Puerto Banús marina, with its retail and dining, is five minutes by car.

Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport is approximately 60 kilometres east, reached in around 40 minutes by car via the AP-7 toll motorway. There is no direct rail connection to the Golden Mile itself; the nearest train station is in Málaga city. Gibraltar Airport lies roughly 75 kilometres to the west, offering an alternative gateway particularly useful for UK-based buyers, with a journey time of around one hour by road.
