Villa De Malaga

Benahavís is one of the most sought-after municipalities on the Costa del Sol, occupying a privileged position in the foothills of the Serranía de Ronda between Marbella and Estepona. The village itself is known for its whitewashed Andalusian architecture, its concentration of restaurants, and the dramatic mountain scenery that frames it. The wider municipality encompasses some of the most exclusive residential land on the southern Spanish coast, including La Zagaleta, widely regarded as one of Europe’s most private gated communities.

The village centre of Benahavís offers a well-established restaurant strip along Calle Málaga, with El Cortijo de Pepe and Los Abanicos among the long-standing local favourites. Puerto Banús is approximately 15 minutes by car, providing access to high-end retail, beach clubs, and superyacht berthing. Marbella’s Golden Mile and the amenities of San Pedro de Alcántara are similarly close.

Málaga Airport (AGP) is approximately 55 kilometres from Benahavís, typically 45 to 55 minutes by car depending on traffic, with direct connections to most major European cities and a growing number of intercontinental routes. Gibraltar Airport is around 60 kilometres to the southwest, offering an alternative gateway. The AP-7 motorway provides straightforward access along the coast in both directions, connecting to Marbella in under 20 minutes and Málaga city in under an hour.
