In addition, the basement level includes a large garage, a wine cellar and several other utility rooms, whereas a meticulous renovation, started three years ago, not only respected the dwelling’s original elements, but also added a certain understated and modern touch to the whole.

Made up of several volumes topped with barrel tile single-pitched or gable roofs, the plaster-coated, two-storey masonry guesthouse includes a pool house near the swimming pool, two-bedroom accommodations in the back, as well as an artist’s studio and a studio flat on the garden level, while the grounds, surrounding the edifices, relatively flat and planted with many trees, boast an ornamental pond, a vegetable garden, a boules’ court and unobstructed views of the surrounding hillsides.
