La Colle-sur-Loup is a small Provençal village set in the hills of the Alpes-Maritimes, roughly midway between Nice and Grasse. The village retains a genuinely rural character, with stone architecture, a medieval core, and views across the Loup river valley toward the pre-Alps. It sits at an elevation that keeps it noticeably cooler than the coast in summer, and its agricultural heritage, particularly roses and jasmine grown for the Grasse perfume industry, gives the landscape a distinct identity.

The village centre has a weekly market, a handful of restaurants, and a boulangerie within easy reach. Saint-Paul-de-Vence, with its galleries and the Fondation Maeght, is approximately five minutes by car. Cagnes-sur-Mer and Vence are both under ten minutes, offering supermarkets, medical services, and a broader restaurant selection.

Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is approximately 25 kilometres from La Colle-sur-Loup, reachable in around 30 minutes by car depending on traffic, with direct connections to most major European cities and intercontinental routes. The A8 motorway is accessible via Cagnes-sur-Mer, placing Monaco within 45 minutes and Cannes within 30. The nearest train station with TGV connections is Nice-Ville, linking Paris in around five and a half hours.
