The street has a snack bar at the end, just a minute ́s walk away from the property. This brings us to the notorious ex-railway hill leading down to Funchal centre. There is a bus stop and it ́s a 5-minute drive, so affordable for Bolt / Uber rides also.
This location is slightly higher than the highway line, and the views contain the sea and lower Funchal, as well as the highway bridge. It ́s a good distance though, so no traffic noise affects the serenity.
