Fréjus occupies a distinctive position on the Var coast, where the Massif de l’Esterel meets the Mediterranean. The A8 autoroute provides road access to both cities in comparable times. Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport, the primary international hub for the region, is approximately 60 kilometres east, reachable in under an hour by car outside peak traffic.
