The Esbeck manor is nestled in the gently rolling hills of the Leinebergland, between the towns of Bad Gandersheim and Alfeld, in the municipality of Freden in the district of Hildesheim. The rounded estate combines agriculture, forestry and an attractive hunting estate on almost 100 hectares of land to form a rare unit in this form.

The land stretches from the banks of the Leine at an altitude of around 97 meters up to the striking Selterklippen cliffs at 330 meters - an impressive elevation profile that gives the estate its special scenic character. Arable land, grassland, extensive stands of deciduous woodland and near-natural steep slopes alternate, creating a picture that is unparalleled in Lower Saxony.

The estate comprises around 38 hectares of good quality arable land, which is leased to a local farmer, as well as around 5 hectares of grassland in the Leinen lowlands. By far the largest area is made up of around 57 hectares of forest, consisting mainly of valuable hardwood stands, which are professionally managed by a forestry association. A residential house with a garden plot and two residential units round off the property.

As a private hunting estate, Rittergut Esbeck offers excellent conditions for hunting wild boar, roe deer and small game with a hunting area of around 120 hectares - including adjacent additional land. For buyers with an affinity for hunting, this is a unique selling point that can hardly be reproduced.

As such, the manor is a member of the traditional Hildesheim Knighthood - a testimony to its historical roots in the region and an aspect that is of considerable sentimental value to a certain group of buyers.

The area is extraordinarily scenic and, in addition to hunting, offers a wide range of opportunities for horse riding, hiking and experiencing nature. At the same time, the location is easily accessible: Bad Gandersheim and Alfeld can be reached in a few minutes, Hanover in under an hour.
