The property is located in one of the most beautiful and captivating panoramic positions on the Fiesole hillside: on the side facing Florence, in the San Domenico area, nestled in the Affrico valley. The property is surrounded by olive trees, fruit trees, linden trees, and a long row of poplars that follows the natural boundary of the Affrico.

The area is protected both as a Landscape and Historical Environment Protection Area of the Fiesole hill and as Territorial Areas of the main watercourses and agricultural landscapes. Within the property, the main building is positioned at the highest part of the slope. Immersed in the vegetation, it is perfectly integrated with the surrounding landscape, with only parts of the roofs visible.

The construction naturally follows the incline of the property, which gently extends from Via delle Fontanelle into the Affrico valley. The property was restored in 1965, utilizing the volumes of an 18th-century building that had changed usage over the years from a religious building to a rural structure and then to a monastery. The original structure still retains the cloister area with the well and the small monastery bell tower. A design focused on environmental integration, reflecting the forms and volumes of Tuscan rural architecture, executed by architect Pier Niccolò Berardi, has made it one of the most beautiful villas on the Fiesole slope.

The style recalls, in its use of materials and forms, the architecture of the typical sharecropping landscape. The property, with a gross usable area of approximately 1052 sqm, is spread over three floors, one of which is partially underground. The ground floor houses the living area with a large salon of about 114 sqm, two entrances, kitchen, wardrobe, and four bedrooms with private facilities. The first floor, divided into two separate zones with exclusive access, features two master bedrooms with large dressing rooms and services. On the semi-basement floor, with direct garden access, is the caretaker’s apartment with two bedrooms, bathroom, living room, and kitchen. This floor also includes service areas, such as a laundry room, double wardrobe, garage, and various storage rooms. At this level, open on three sides, is the old loggia with the wood-fired oven. Today, the loggia is enclosed with a large glass wall and used as a study.
