Carrer de Felanitx runs through the heart of Felanitx, a market town in the southeast of Mallorca with a character shaped by centuries of agricultural and artisan tradition. The streets here are lined with stone townhouses and modest civic buildings that reflect the island’s vernacular architecture, and the pace is unhurried and local. The surrounding landscape of the Migjorn region, with its rolling hills, almond groves, and proximity to the Serra de Llevant, gives the area a distinctly rural Mallorcan identity.

The weekly Sunday market in Felanitx’s central Plaça de Sa Font draws locals from across the region. The town has a working selection of cafés, bakeries, and grocery suppliers. The coastal towns of Portocolom and Cala d’Or are both within fifteen minutes by car, offering beaches, restaurants, and marina facilities.

Felanitx sits approximately 50 kilometres east of Palma, reachable in around 45 minutes by car via the Ma-15. Palma de Mallorca Airport, the main international hub for the Balearic Islands, handles direct routes to most major European cities and connects to Madrid and Barcelona year-round. There is no rail connection to Felanitx; the car is the practical mode of transport for daily use in this part of the island.
