Palma de Mallorca is approximately 50 kilometres from Felanitx, reachable in around 45 minutes by car via the Ma-15. Palma Airport, one of the busiest in Spain with direct connections to most major European cities and year-round flights to Madrid and Barcelona, is roughly the same distance. There is no direct rail connection from Felanitx, making a car essential for daily life in this part of the island.
