Eygalières is one of the most quietly prestigious villages in the Alpilles, a small limestone range that defines the landscape between Arles and Cavaillon. It carries a reputation for understatement that distinguishes it from the more visited Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, six kilometres to the north.
