Coripe is a small agricultural municipality in the Sierra Sur de Sevilla, sitting at the southern edge of Seville province where the landscape shifts into rolling limestone hills, cork oak woodland, and open dehesa. The town is part of the Sierra Norte and Sierra Sur natural park corridor and is surrounded by some of the most productive and least disturbed rural land in Andalusia. It is a working agricultural community with deep roots in livestock farming, dryland cereal cultivation, and Iberian pig production.
Day-to-day provisions are available in Coripe itself, with broader shopping and services in Morón de la Frontera, approximately 30 kilometres north. Olvera, a well-preserved hilltop town with a weekly market and several traditional restaurants, lies around 40 kilometres southeast. The area is known for its Iberian pork products, local olive oil, and direct farm-to-table supply chains.
Seville city centre is approximately 90 kilometres north via the A-92 motorway, with a drive time of around one hour. Seville Airport, which operates direct routes to major European hubs including London, Paris, Frankfurt, and Amsterdam, is roughly 100 kilometres from Coripe and reachable in under 90 minutes by car. Jerez Airport, serving additional low-cost and charter routes, lies approximately 80 kilometres to the southwest.
