Description
The large historic villa, now in need of total restoration, dates back to the 15th century and is a national monument. The estate, with as much as 4700 square meters of total internal area, is composed of several buildings of different periods, all in need of a maintenance program as they were last renovated over 20 years ago. It consists of a three-story main manor house with dovecote and a large annex housing several apartments, formerly used as a farmhouse. A few steps from the formal gardens and directly aligned with the front door of the villa is the estate’s beautiful chapel, which creates a wonderfully grand atmosphere. Not far from the main villa are other outbuildings related to the estate’s agricultural activities, some used as staff quarters and others for agricultural production. The most important of these is a newly built cellar of considerable size developed on two levels. The upper level with large gates houses a huge hall for receptions and banquets, while the lower level houses the cellar perfectly equipped for production, with amphorae from the 1700s and striking wooden and steel barrels. 300 m from the villa and farm complex, with separate access, is another detached stone farmhouse and an annex with an above-ground pool in the garden. The detached farmhouse of about 500 square meters is on two levels and houses several bedrooms and bathrooms as well as multiple living areas and kitchens.
