Set high among the wooded hills of Castiglion Fiorentino, near Cortona, Polvano is a beautifully restored Tuscan farmhouse dating back to 1640. Its elevated position offers sweeping views across the Val di Chiana, with the surrounding countryside stretching towards the distant hills.

The property stands within approximately 8,000 square metres of private land, surrounded by woodland and the natural landscape of southern Tuscany. The sense of privacy is immediate, yet the historic towns of Castiglion Fiorentino and Cortona remain within easy reach.

Originally built in the seventeenth century, Polvano was completely restored by Studio Verna in 2010. The restoration retained the farmhouse’s traditional architecture, with exposed wooden beams, terracotta floors, original stonework and solid wooden doors giving the interiors their distinctive character.
