La Maison Swayambhu

Welcome to the SWAYAMBHU house. With 400m² built, let’s start with the garden. It is said that in the center of this large lake, a huge lotus flower grew, radiating a spectacular divine light. The garden surrounds the house with 651m², where the space opens up to the pool area in the south zone. The four winds are dazzled by its natural light coming from our sea. Let’s go inside. After crossing the entrance hall, we head to the living room. The lake and this flower were so beautiful that thousands of pilgrims from neighboring regions came to admire the incredible landscape surrounding the flower. The living room is about 50m² and has access to a terrace. Next is the kitchen. It is important to highlight its large size, which sometimes serves as a second dining room. It is said that Manjusri, a disciple of Buddha, had the vision of this dazzling flower and decided to travel from China to the lake to see it. The ground floor also includes a bedroom and a bathroom. Moving upstairs to the bedrooms: seeing how popular the place was, he decided to drain the lake so everyone could be closer to this great source of light. There are three double bedrooms with three bathrooms. The master bedroom enjoys a private terrace with views over Montemar. It was then that Manjushri cut one of the valley’s mountains with his sword so the water could flow downhill and the flower could be reached as it rested on the earth. The house includes a guest apartment with a living room, kitchen, one bedroom, and a bathroom. It is here, in the SWAYAMBHU house, where the light flows from the blue horizon to the heart of our garden.
