The beautiful and elegant country manor once belonged to a noble family from Treviso, who commissioned its construction in the second half of the 16th century. The structure consists of a main building with an almost square floor plan and a small annex attached to the right (EAST) side, built in the mid-17th century in place of the original oratory that was demolished and dedicated to Saint Joseph. This villa is one of the few surviving examples of country weekend homes that still maintain an intact structure within the natural environment where they were built. The villa’s distinctive size ([hidden information] per floor) is enhanced by a splendid façade fully frescoed from the base to the cornice, including the chimney on the left side. Today, some of the frescoes have been lost or damaged by time, but parts of the allegorical and mythological paintings are still visible. The central part consists of a ground floor and a first floor, both classically featuring a central hall running the entire length of the floor plan, with rooms on either side and a half-landing staircase on the right side. On the second floor, there is a high-ceilinged attic, also extending over the entire footprint of the building. Inside, the house still preserves a room fireplace and original, well-maintained finishes, without frescoes. The garden in front of the entrance is simple and composed, enriched by tall trees, while the garden adjacent to the north façade is a small piece of countryside, crossed by an ancient water channel and enhanced by a stunning view of the Asolo hills.
