Cannes Croisette — Relais De La Reine

Cannes occupies a singular position on the French Riviera, a city whose international reputation is built on the film festival but whose daily reality is defined by the Boulevard de la Croisette, one of the most recognisable seafront promenades in the world. The city combines a working port, a historic hilltop quarter in Le Suquet, and a concentrated luxury infrastructure that few comparable cities can match. It draws a permanent international community alongside its seasonal visitors.

The Croisette itself is flanked by the Palais des Festivals, the Marché Forville for daily produce, and restaurants including La Palme d’Or at the Martinez and Mantel in the old town. The Lerins Islands are a short ferry ride from the Vieux Port. Rue d’Antibes, the main retail street, runs parallel to the seafront.

Cannes-Mandelieu airport handles private and charter traffic and sits approximately 6 kilometres west of the city centre. Nice Côte d’Azur international airport, the primary hub for scheduled flights with direct routes to most European capitals and beyond, is roughly 30 kilometres east, approximately 30 to 40 minutes by car or taxi. Cannes train station connects directly to Nice in around 30 minutes and to Marseille in approximately 1 hour 40 minutes via TGV services.
