Campos is a quiet agricultural municipality in the south of Mallorca, set on a flat, fertile plain that has shaped its character for centuries. The town retains a distinctly local identity, with a traditional market square, stone architecture, and a pace of life largely unchanged by mass tourism. Its position in the Migjorn region places it at the edge of some of the island’s most protected and least developed coastline, making it one of the more sought-after rural addresses for buyers seeking privacy without remoteness.

The weekly market on Thursdays draws locals from across the municipality. The town centre has bakeries, butchers, and the well-regarded restaurant Molí de Vent. Es Trenc beach, one of Mallorca’s few undeveloped stretches of coastline, is approximately six kilometres away. Colònia de Sant Jordi, with its harbour restaurants and ferry connections to Cabrera, is around ten kilometres to the southeast.

Palma de Mallorca is approximately 40 kilometres to the northwest, reachable by car in around 35 to 40 minutes via the Ma-19. Palma’s Son Sant Joan Airport handles direct flights to most major European cities, with journey times from Campos of roughly 30 to 35 minutes by car. There is no direct rail connection to Campos, so a private vehicle is essential for day-to-day use. The airport serves over 30 international routes, with year-round connections to London, Paris, Frankfurt, and Zurich.
