A remarkable farmstead and 2,000-m² of outbuildings, in France’s Essonne department, 30 kilometres from Paris. On the edge of the village, a carriage entrance gate extends a stone enclosure wall and leads into an agricultural property with a large farmhouse that offers approximately 400 m² floor area and five outbuildings that offer 2,000 m² in total floor area. This farm complex is officially recognised as a remarkable site. The property covers around 8,500 m² in a zone that can be built upon but under regulations designed to preserve the village’s historical character.

The main house, like most of the outbuildings, is made of burrstone with lime pointing. It is punctuated with quoins and has six bays with timber lintels, latticework windows and white louvered shutters. Its gabled roof of local tiles is punctuated with dormers and roof windows. The house faces north-east and south-west with windows on both sides.

The roofs of the barn, stable and agricultural storage building are made of corrugated metal and their windows and doors are painted dark green. The garden, which is dotted with trees and shrubs of difference varieties, is listed as a remarkable landscaped space. A tennis court, which needs to be completely restored, lies at the bottom of the plot.
