Villa Benalmadena

Arroyo de la Miel is the residential and commercial core of Benalmádena, a municipality on the Costa del Sol between Málaga and Marbella. The area sits inland from the coast, elevated above the beach resort strip of Benalmádena Costa, giving it a more settled, year-round character. It functions as a genuine town rather than a tourist enclave, with a working high street, local schools, and a resident population that remains active outside the summer season.

The Renfe Cercanías station in Arroyo de la Miel connects directly to Málaga city centre in under 20 minutes. The Tivoli World amusement park and the Benalmádena Cable Car, which ascends Monte Calamorro, are both within the district. Beaches at Benalmádena Costa are a five-minute drive. The commercial centre Parque Miramar in Fuengirola is roughly ten minutes by car.

Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport is approximately 12 kilometres from Arroyo de la Miel, reachable in around 15 minutes by car or via the Cercanías C1 line with a direct connection from the local station. Málaga city centre, with its museums, port, and historic quarter, is 20 minutes by train or car. Marbella is 30 minutes west along the A-7 coastal road, and the AP-7 toll motorway provides faster access across the region.
