Tucked away behind whitewashed walls and lush Mediterranean planting, Casa Calma is a relaxed island home close to the beaches and coves of Mallorca’s southwest coast. Originally built in 1980 and fully renovated in 2025, the house combines Mediterranean simplicity with a warm, contemporary bohemian aesthetic. Soft colours, natural wood, tactile surfaces and carefully selected furniture give the interiors an understated and personal character, while a decorative self-levelling floor creates a continuous visual language throughout the main spaces.
The main floor is centred around an open living area and generous kitchen, where timber-fronted cabinetry and long windows overlooking the greenery create a bright and welcoming setting. A wood-burning stove adds warmth to the living room. Three bedrooms are arranged around the central living spaces, together with two bathrooms and a separate guest toilet. The bathrooms continue the restrained material palette with timber cabinetry, softly shaped mirrors and considered detailing, including a generous bathroom with a freestanding bathtub and extensive built-in storage.
A separate guest suite on the lower level offers a fourth bedroom, private bathroom and its own large covered terrace, creating an independent retreat for visiting friends and family. Throughout the house, the relationship between indoors and outdoors is central to the layout. Several covered terraces provide shaded spaces for dining and lounging, while smaller corners beneath mature citrus trees and palms offer quiet places to sit throughout the day.
The garden surrounds a 20 m² swimming pool framed by tropical planting, white walls and sun terraces, creating a private and secluded setting. An exterior staircase leads to the rooftop terrace, where a covered lounge area, Jacuzzi and solarium provide another place to spend the day outdoors, with open views across the green surroundings of Costa de la Calma.
Behind its relaxed character, Casa Calma has been comprehensively upgraded for year-round living, with mineral wool insulated walls and insulated floors, ducted hot and cold air conditioning and an Energy Performance Certificate rating of A. Sold fully furnished with a carefully curated selection of furniture and decorative pieces, the house brings together four bedrooms, multiple terraces, a private pool and mature garden in a home shaped around the easy rhythms of Mediterranean life.
