La villa ha sido cuidadosamente restaurada y mejorada por el propietario actual, el príncipe Borghese, cuya familia compró la propiedad hace más de 200 años. Todas las habitaciones están decoradas con muebles y cuadros originales, candelabros de cristal veneciano y alfombras persas. La villa cuenta con 6 dormitorios, todos con baño privado, con salas de estar y espacios comunes de una belleza impresionante. La planta baja está compuesta por el local (áreas de cocina y personal de servicio) y un gran comedor interior, con 20 asientos en una mesa imperial, con una enorme chimenea. Ground floor is composed by the premises (kitchen and service staff areas) and a large indoor dining room, with 20 seated places in an imperial table, with a huge fireplace. On the first floor there are two wings, divided by a Royal living room: the left wing has two master bedrooms en suite and the original Chapel of the Medici family. The Royal living room has more than 10 sofas, a royal fireplace and many marble decorations from past centuries. The right wing has a TV room and an ancient red library, with original books from the past three centuries, and two twin or double bedrooms en suite. Both wings can be reached from downstairs separately. Lucca, a fortified town rising amidst vineyards and olive trees in the hills of Tuscany, is one of the main art cities in Italy.
