En el lugar dónde se encontraba la iglesia del siglo XII San Miguel de Alafes, en Belver de los Montes, hoy desaparecida, se ubica actualmente El Mayoral, un antiguo molino de agua, el molino de Alafes, restaurado y transformado en Casa Rural, un oasis de 5,4 Ha. en mitad de esta “Tierra de Campos”.
Este antiguo molino se encuentra rodeado de árboles y praderas, y se encuentra entre los pueblos de Castronuevo y Belver de los Montes, a 4 Km. de cada uno de ellos. Alojamiento de caza del gran escritor vallisoletano Miguel Delibes, buen amigo de estas tierras, amante de la caza de perdices y caza menor.
El edificio principal tiene dos plantas y ocupa una extensión de 890 m2, Actualmente es Casa Rural, y tiene un restaurante, una bodega, un gran salón que comunica con tres habitaciones con baño para los clientes, y la vivienda de los propietarios.
