Tarifa sits 45 minutes by road from Algeciras, which has ferry connections to Ceuta and Morocco. Gibraltar Airport is approximately 45 kilometres away, offering regional routes. Malaga Airport, the main international hub for the region, is roughly 150 kilometres northeast, around 90 minutes by car, with direct connections to most major European cities. Jerez de la Frontera Airport provides an additional option, around 100 kilometres north.
