Casa Adosada, Felanitx, Mallorca

Cas Concos is a small, unhurried village in the municipality of Felanitx, in the southeast of Mallorca, with a character that has remained largely intact despite the island’s broader development pressures. It sits on a gentle rise surrounded by agricultural land, almond groves, and dry-stone walls, and has long attracted artists and creative residents drawn to its quietness and authenticity. The village has a genuine local identity, with a modest church, a handful of traditional stone houses, and very little commercial intrusion.

Day-to-day life here is quiet and self-directed. The market town of Felanitx is around five minutes by car and offers a weekly Sunday market, supermarkets, and everyday services. The coastal town of Cala d’Or is roughly fifteen minutes away, with restaurants, a marina, and beaches. Santanyi, known for its Saturday market and independent shops, is also within a short drive.

Palma de Mallorca is approximately 55 kilometres from Cas Concos, reachable in around 45 to 50 minutes by car via the Ma-19 motorway. Palma Airport, one of the busiest in Spain with direct connections to most major European cities, is roughly the same distance and travel time. There is no direct rail connection to the village, making a car essential for daily use. The nearest train station is in Manacor, around 20 kilometres north.
