Pollensa sits in the northern reaches of Mallorca, framed by the Serra de Tramuntana mountains to the west and the broad sweep of Pollensa Bay to the east. Palma de Mallorca Airport is approximately 60 kilometres from Pollensa, typically a 55 to 65 minute drive via the Ma-13 motorway. The airport operates year-round international routes to major European hubs including London, Barcelona, Frankfurt, and Paris, with significantly expanded frequency from spring through autumn. There is no rail connection to the north of the island, so a car is essential. Palma itself, with its full range of services and international schools, is under an hour.
