Villa, Sotogrande

Sotogrande is one of Europe’s most established private residential estates, occupying roughly 2,000 hectares along the Costa del Sol’s western edge in the municipality of San Roque. Developed from the 1960s onward, it has maintained a consistent identity built around polo, golf, and sailing, with a low-density layout that distinguishes it sharply from the denser resort developments to the north. La Reserva Club, set on elevated terrain within the estate, represents its most contemporary and exclusive enclave.

Daily life in Sotogrande centres on the marina, which has a concentration of restaurants and cafés, and the Sotogrande village commercial area for everyday shopping. La Reserva Club has its own beach club and restaurant on site. Puerto Banús and Marbella are approximately 45 minutes by car, and Gibraltar offers a full range of international retail and services within 20 minutes.

Gibraltar International Airport is approximately 20 kilometres from Sotogrande, around 20 to 25 minutes by car, and operates direct routes to London, Manchester, and other UK cities. Málaga Airport, with its broader network of European and international connections, is roughly 100 kilometres away, approximately one hour by motorway via the AP-7. Algeciras port, serving ferry routes to Morocco and Ceuta, is under 15 kilometres from the estate.
