Son Ganxo and Biniancolla form a small coastal enclave on the southern tip of Sant Lluís, one of the quietest and most architecturally preserved municipalities in Menorca. The area is defined by low-density whitewashed buildings, rocky shoreline, and direct access to sheltered coves with clear water. Unlike the busier resort areas of the island’s south coast, this stretch retains a genuinely local character, with minimal commercial development and a strong sense of residential privacy.
Sant Lluís village, roughly three kilometres away, has a weekly market, several well-regarded restaurants including Es Molí de Foc, and everyday grocery options. The historic capital Mahón is approximately eight kilometres north, offering a wider range of dining, the covered Mercat des Claustre, and the deepest natural harbour in the Mediterranean.
Mahón Airport is around ten kilometres from Son Ganxo, reachable in under fifteen minutes by car, making this one of the more practically connected coastal locations on the island. Mahón also operates a ferry terminal with regular services to Barcelona and Valencia, with crossings taking between four and nine hours depending on the route and operator. The island has no rail network, so a car is essential for daily use.

Our team will help you find the perfect home to retreat or to spend the holidays. Menorca is the least developed of the Balearic Islands with the most pristine beaches, it is a favourite of divers, astronomers and those seeking utter peace and calm. With the recently opened Hauser & Wirth Art Gallery on Isla del Rey, a small island just off the city of Mahon, as well as the boom in concept stores and boutique hotels, it has become a top destination for art and culture enthusiasts.
