Sol de Mallorca is a low-density residential enclave on the southwest coast of Mallorca, within the municipality of Calvia. It occupies a pine-covered hillside that descends toward a series of small, sheltered coves, giving the area a distinctly private character that sets it apart from the busier resort towns along this coastline. The enclave is composed almost entirely of detached villas and small apartment complexes, with strict planning controls that have preserved its scale and green cover.

The immediate area gives access to Cala Mago and Portals Vells, two of the quieter coves on this stretch of coast, reachable on foot or by a short drive. Port Adriano, redesigned by Philippe Starck and home to a concentrated selection of restaurants and boutiques, is roughly ten minutes by car. Puerto Portals, with restaurants including Flanigan, is a similar distance.

Palma de Mallorca is approximately 20 kilometres to the northeast, accessible via the Ma-1 motorway in around 20 minutes under normal traffic conditions. Palma de Mallorca Airport sits roughly 18 kilometres from Sol de Mallorca, also reachable in approximately 20 minutes by car. There is no direct rail or metro connection to the enclave, so a car is essential for daily use. Santa Ponsa, the nearest town with supermarkets, schools, and medical facilities, is around five minutes by car.
