In the heart of Chiado, a few steps from the riverside area, Ivens Arte was born from the rehabilitation of a historic building in Lisbon, in a residential project where architecture, art and heritage meet. The intervention, designed by the architect Samuel Torres de Carvalho, starts from the original identity of the building and seeks to preserve it, recovering historical and decorative elements and integrating them into a contemporary language. Throughout the project, mural paintings, ornate ceilings and other details that testify to different eras in the building’s history were discovered and recovered. Art takes a central role at Ivens Arte. The project integrates interventions by contemporary artists, including José Pedro Croft and Iva Viana, creating a dialogue between existing heritage and new artistic expressions. The result is a unique residential development, designed for those looking to experience Lisbon from one of its most emblematic locations, in a building where each space maintains its own relationship with its history. Located in Chiado, in one of the most elegant and cosmopolitan areas of the city, Ivens Arte benefits from a privileged location, close to the Tagus, Baixa, Príncipe Real and some of the best restaurants, hotels, shops and cultural spaces in Lisbon. More than a rehabilitation, Ivens Arte proposes a different way of living the historic centre: with contemporary architecture, heritage, art and exclusivity at the same address. (ref IN-GYK8OQ)
