Saint-Raphaël sits at the western edge of the Esterel massif, where the deep red porphyry rock of the Corniche de l’Esterel meets the Mediterranean. Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport, the primary international hub for the region, is roughly 60 kilometres east, reachable in under an hour by car or via a combination of train and shuttle. Cannes is approximately 35 kilometres to the east along the N98.
