Casa Saint Paul De Vence

Saint-Paul-de-Vence is one of the most recognisable medieval hill villages in the South of France, its ramparts and cobbled lanes largely unchanged since the sixteenth century. The village has long attracted artists, writers, and collectors, a reputation cemented by the Fondation Maeght, one of Europe’s foremost private museums of modern art, which sits just outside the walls. The surrounding countryside is a landscape of terraced olive groves, cypress, and stone, with views extending south toward the Côte d’Azur.

Daily life centres on the village itself and the immediate area. The Fondation Maeght is a ten-minute walk from the ramparts. The village square, Place du Général de Gaulle, has cafés and the historic Café de la Place. Cagnes-sur-Mer and Vence are both within ten minutes by car, offering supermarkets, weekly markets, and a broader range of restaurants.

Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is approximately 25 kilometres from Saint-Paul-de-Vence, a drive of around 30 to 40 minutes depending on traffic, making international access straightforward. The A8 motorway connects the area to Cannes in under 30 minutes and to Monaco in around 45 minutes. Cagnes-sur-Mer train station, roughly 8 kilometres away, provides regular TGV and regional rail services along the coast toward Nice, Antibes, and Marseille.
