Roquebrune-Cap-Martin occupies one of the most coveted positions on the French Riviera, a narrow coastal commune between Monaco and Menton where a medieval hilltop village looks down over a pine-covered cape that juts into the Mediterranean. The area carries genuine historical weight: Le Corbusier spent his final summers here, and the cape’s footpaths and rocky shoreline remain largely unchanged. It is a quieter, more private alternative to Monaco, without sacrificing proximity to it.
