Set in the heart of Rollingwood, 503 Inwood Road was originally the personal home of interior designer Brooke Wilbratte of Tribe Design Group. Working with architect Kathleen Baldwin, Wilbratte shaped the home with a distinctly personal eye for materials, detail, and everyday living. The interiors went on to win Best in Interior Design at the 2023 Austin Home & Design Awards.

Venetian plaster, European white oak floors, sculptural fluted details, and architectural lighting bring warmth and depth to the interiors, with a material palette that feels refined without feeling precious. Technology largely disappears into the design and ceiling speakers are nearly invisible, while subtle alcove lighting along the staircase becomes an architectural detail of its own. Behind the finishes, extensive insulation and a specialized stucco application were chosen with the same attention to performance, contributing to the home’s energy efficiency.
