Tierra De Pollensa

Pollença sits in the northern reaches of Mallorca, at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range, which holds UNESCO World Heritage status as a cultural landscape. The town retains a genuinely Mallorcan character, built around a historic centre of stone houses, a Roman bridge, and the famous Calvari staircase of 365 steps leading to a hilltop chapel. It is widely regarded as one of the most architecturally and culturally intact towns on the island.

Daily life centres on the weekly Sunday market in Plaça Major, the restaurants and cafés along Carrer dels Vells, and the art galleries that have drawn an international community for decades. The beach resort of Port de Pollença is roughly three kilometres away, offering sailing, waterfront dining, and a Blue Flag beach.

Palma de Mallorca is approximately 55 kilometres south, reachable in under an hour by car via the MA-13 motorway. Palma Airport handles direct flights to most major European cities year-round, with journey time from Pollença of around 50 minutes by car. There is no rail connection to the town, so a car is essential for day-to-day use. The nearby town of Alcúdia, roughly 10 kilometres away, provides additional services and ferry connections to Menorca and mainland Spain.
