This 320 sq m villa of distinctive aesthetic is located in the northern part of the island, in a privileged location near the ancient Mycenaean Acropolis and the sandy Kolymbithres Beach. It offers views of the turquoise waters of the Aegean and the dynamic energy of the Acropolis’ sculpted rocks, combined with panoramic views of Naxos and the picturesque town of Naousa.

Inspired by the organic character of the Cycladic landscape and the gradual spatial connections and fluidity between outdoor and indoor life in the Mediterranean climate, the residential program is organized into smaller units, creating a narrative sequence of spaces among open courtyards, pathways, semi-outdoor areas, guest rooms, terraces, the pool area and the main house.

Situated on a steep east-facing slope, the longitudinal axis of the house runs from north to south, allowing all outdoor and indoor spaces to enjoy abundant morning light and unobstructed views towards Naousa Bay. Parking areas are located at both the northern and southern ends of the plot, serving the complex’s main entrance and the secondary entrance to the pool area. The connecting element of the complex is the covered sitting area, with a monastic-style table, which provides access to the main residence and guesthouse while also serving as a shared meeting space.

The main residence, at the center of the composition, comprises the living room, dining room, kitchen and auxiliary areas on the raised ground floor; a playroom and two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms on the semi-basement level; and the master bedroom with a large terrace on the upper floor. Three independent guest rooms are positioned on the southern and northern sides of the house, each with a separate entrance. A large open-air area surrounding the pool serves as the villa’s main communal space, with a covered sitting area, a large dining table specially made of solid wood, a barbecue, a traditional wood-fired oven and pool lounges.

The load-bearing structure is made of reinforced concrete. The exterior and interior walls feature textured, earth-toned stucco finishes that harmonize with the natural surroundings. Wooden floors and ceilings, specially designed frames, recessed wall niches, refurbished furniture and rustic décor add warmth and character to the residence.
