Barberini Castle is located in the territory of the Municipality of Monte Porzio, on a hill near the bank of the Cesano River. Around the year 1000, the small village of Castelvecchio developed around this focal point.
The castle is just 10 km from the sea and about a 20-minute drive from the renowned seaside resort of Senigallia.

El Castello Barberini se encuentra en el territorio del Comune di Monte Porzio, a una altura en la riva del fiume Cesano, fulcro attorno al quale intorno all’anno 1000 si è sviluppato il piccolo borgo di Castelvecchio Il Castello se encuentra a solo 10 km del mar y a unos 20 minutos en coche de la famosa localidad turística balneare di Senzo igalia.
L’edificio di origine medioevale è constituito da possenti torri angolari e da corpi in muratura che constituiscono i bastioni verso l’esterno.
Il castello già sopraelevato nei secoli XV XVI è stato oggetto in epoche successive di rimaneggiamenti e restauri.
Tutto l’impianto è stato realizzato in pietra e mattoni ed attraverso un passaggio di pietra (ricordo del vecchio ponte levatoio si accede al portale principale d’ingresso sormontato dallo stemma dei Barberini).
En la parte sur del castillo, se accede a la zona residencial del Palazzo Barberini, atravesando un patio, con al centro un pozzo in mattoni, a la zona residencial del Palazzo Barberini, construída en la época siguiente, que muestra techos elegantemente decorados. L’intera fortezza presenta escorci e vedute assai particolari che si aprono sul borgo e su una campagna molto curata.
La struttura può essere ideale per eventi Business e Privati, ma potrebbe essere idonea anche per un utilizzo di tipo ricettivo.

The entire structure is made of stone and bricks. Through a stone passage—a reminder of the old drawbridge—you reach the main entrance portal, topped by the Barberini coat of arms.
