Manilva House Villa Independiente

Los Hidalgos sits within La Duquesa, one of the quieter residential pockets along the western Costa del Sol, in the municipality of Manilva. The area occupies a stretch of coastline between Sotogrande and Estepona, where low-density villa developments face south toward the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar. The setting is markedly less commercialised than Marbella or Puerto Banús, attracting buyers who prioritise space, sea views, and proximity to serious golf over resort-town density.

Duquesa Marina, roughly two kilometres away, provides daily essentials: waterfront restaurants, a fish market, and a small commercial strip. The Mercadona at Centro Comercial La Duquesa covers grocery needs. Finca Cortesin and Valderrama, two of Spain’s most respected golf courses, are within fifteen minutes by car.

Marbella is approximately 45 minutes east along the AP-7 motorway, and Sotogrande is around 15 minutes west. Gibraltar, with its international airport serving direct routes to London and other European cities, is roughly 30 minutes by car. Málaga Airport, the main regional hub with extensive international connections, is approximately one hour away. The area is well served by the AP-7 and the parallel N-340 coastal road.
