The Knights' Barn

The first apartment in the main building was restored and then put into operation in 1989; gradually, the others were added (a total of 6), along with the two hosted by the barn, which has also been renovated in respect of historical buildings, preserving the grilled walls, a guarantee of ventilation in the past, and today an unmistakable graphic and decorative element. On the ground floor and the first floor of the main building, there are two three-room apartments of 75 sqm with the typical elements of a Tuscan country house: small vaulted ceilings, terracotta floors, brick arches. Composed of two bedrooms, a living kitchen, and a bathroom, they have access to a gazebo with a barbecue for the typical barbecue under the stars that recalls the ancient festivities in the courtyard. Also on the estate, there are 4 two-room apartments of 50 square meters, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor, always with an equipped gazebo. In the barn, there are two mirror-image apartments, about 80 sqm each, on 2 levels, each consisting of three bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room with a kitchenette, and a beautiful external porch, bordered by wisteria and complete with a dining table and lounge, to enjoy the outdoors from breakfast until after dinner. Beyond the farmhouse, there is a large panoramic swimming pool with a jacuzzi, whose solarium was renovated in 2020, the year in which the bathrooms of the apartments were also renovated and equipped with travertine finishes. The ’Knights’ Barn’ is an ideal solution for those wishing to engage in an agricultural-accommodation activity but also to create a private home to retreat to during or outside the season. The location is perfect for a full immersion in Tuscany: the city of Pisa, with its Leaning Tower and also the international airport, is only 37 km away.
