Roquebrussanne, Var – Provençal Mas

La Roquebrussanne is a small Provençal village in the Var department, set within the Massif de la Sainte-Baume and surrounded by oak forests, vineyards, and garrigue. The village retains a genuinely rural character, with a medieval core, a Romanesque church, and a weekly market that serves the local community rather than tourists. This is working Provence, largely untouched by the coastal development that has transformed much of the region to the south.

The village centre, roughly 1.5 kilometres away, has a bakery, a pharmacy, and a handful of local shops. Brignoles, the main commercial hub of central Var, is approximately 15 kilometres to the north and offers supermarkets, medical facilities, and a broader range of restaurants and services. The Sainte-Baume massif provides direct access to marked hiking trails.

Toulon is around 45 kilometres to the south, reachable in under an hour by car via the A57 motorway, and provides the nearest major rail connections, including TGV services to Paris in approximately three hours and fifteen minutes. Toulon-Hyères Airport is roughly 55 kilometres away, with domestic and European routes. Marseille Provence Airport, offering a wider international network, is approximately 70 kilometres to the west, around one hour by car.
