Central Brittany – 16th Century Manor House

Barnes Propriétés & Châteaux presents

In the heart of Brittany, in the Côtes-d’Armor, this character estate enjoys an ideal location between the north and south coasts. Loudéac is about 15 minutes away by car, and Pontivy about 20 minutes. The Rennes and Brest airports can be reached in approximately 1 hour 15 minutes and 1 hour 30 minutes respectively.

At its center stands a 16th-century manor house, with the earliest recorded date, 1536, carved into the stone. Its façades are made of slate and granite, and a semicircular turret shelters a rare and elegant stone spiral staircase. Across three levels, sixteen rooms offer approximately 600 sq m of usable space once renovated. Currently vacant and in need of complete restoration, it is a blank canvas for a project of matching ambition, from a grand family home to a boutique hotel, guest table, or seminar and reception venue.

The estate offers many charms:
- A one-hectare park facing due south, a member of the Parcs et Jardins de Bretagne association since 2025
- Walks featuring a mandala vegetable garden
- A pond with a waterfall and koi carp
- A replica of the medieval labyrinth of Chartres Cathedral
- An avenue of tree ferns
- A circle of standing stones

This rare setting has strong appeal for anyone wishing to welcome guests.

Hospitality facilities are already in place:
- Five timber leisure lodgings
- An eco-lodge
- Cabins on stilts and treehouse cabins, each accommodating two to five guests, with terraces, spa, and wood-fired Nordic baths
- A yurt of approximately 50 sq m
- A sauna beneath a geodesic dome

Once the manor is renovated, the estate will offer significantly expanded capacity and a complete guest experience, from wellness stays to private or corporate events. Its central location attracts clients from both the northern and southern coasts.

For on-site living, there is a renovated house of approximately 180 sq m, heated by geothermal energy, with three bedrooms, two offices, and a generous terrace overlooking the pond. As a main residence with a business on the doorstep, this estate invites you to shape the future of an exceptional place.
