In the area, there are small hotel units, rental apartments, and a mini-market. 2.5 kilometers from Paramonas is the village of Agios Matthaios, one of the largest villages in Corfu where visitors can find a clinic, pharmacy, post office, gym, supermarket, bakeries, pastry shops, and gas stations. 10 kilometers from Paramonas, in Moraitika and Messonghi, there is a large tourist area with large hotels, shops, souvenirs, ATM machines from various banks, car and bike rental offices, taxi ranks, and numerous bars and nightclubs for nightlife entertainment. 8 kilometers south of Paramonas is the Korission lake. A beautiful lake that connects to the sea through a narrow point, separated from the sea by a large sandy beach 2.5 kilometers long, Halikouna beach.
