There are few properties like this. Ones that gather the most charming traditional elements in a setting of space and utmost comfort.

Once upon a time this was a cluster of typical Alentejo houses. In early 2000s under the vision of an inspired architect they were transformed into a single, solid home with uncommon details. But not only that. Alongside the main house, a rustic independent cottage was preserved, and a new annex emerged beside the pool.
In 2021, already in the hands of someone special with refined sensitivity, the property underwent numerous aesthetic enhancements, elevating the splendour of Alentejo to a new level.

It has since been the backdrop for joyful gatherings of family and friends, in a warm atmosphere where everything around us exudes taste and comfort.

The 4.625 hectares of gently undulating terrain are adorned mostly with olive trees, alongside a variety of native flora and trees, including many aromatic herbs. The land has abundant water. There is a beautiful irrigation tank and an equally ancient well.

The property is free from chemical treatments. Here, nature is respected - and seems to acknowledge it. In the orchard, trees grow at their own rhythm and gift the owner with wonderful fruit. A lovingly built henhouse provides fresh eggs all year round. This is a property treated with dignity. As Alentejo deserves.

The Main House
From the entrance, the schist flooring and a beautiful old chimney welcome us to Alentejo. Ahead, a door leads to the generous master suite, filled with light and featuring a walk-in closet.

The house is divided into two wings:
- Right Wing: Three large living rooms interconnected by traditional arches, adorned with two antique marble fireplaces with glass backsallowing you to see the outdoors through the fire. The beauty and uniqueness of these rooms captivate instantly. The dining room, with a large window cutting through the wall, leads to a discreet and tasteful wine cellar, creating yet another singular space within the whole. There is a guest bathroom in warm, relaxing tones.
The kitchen, cosy and elegant, was recently renovated with dark green lacquered cabinetry and Estremoz marble countertops. A door leads outside. It features two ovens, a generous stove, refrigerator, and two freezers. The kitchen continues into a technical area with pantry and storage, an interior door to the technical zone, indoor laundry, and vestibule with matching cabinetryoffering another entrance and exit to the exterior.

- Left Wing: One suite (with exterior access) and two bedrooms served by a shared bathroom. At the end of this wing, a surprise: a bright room with a wood-burning stove, dining area, and open-plan kitchen, with windows and a door to the outdoor terrace.
In total, the main house offers 2 suites, 2 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 4 interconnected living rooms, 3 fireplaces, and one wood-burning stove.

The large and beautiful porch, used most of the year, offers views of the olive grove, Serra D’Ossa, and Estremoz marble.

The Pool
The 7x14m saltwater pool was also renovated in 2022. It features a waterfall and a spacious surrounding area, including a dining porch and a barbecue built into one of the schist walls. In front of the pool, the atmosphere is fresh and green, with a lawned garden and cypress trees.

The Pool Annex
In the pool area, we find a charming annex composed of a living room with fireplace (and air conditioning), a bedroom, a gym area, a small kitchen, a full bathroom, and the pool’s technical zone.

The Independent Cottage
This delightful rustic house has been renovated and features a living and dining room with fireplace, an ensuite bedroom with a full bathroom clad in Estremoz marble, and a fully equipped kitchen. The windows match those of the main house, and the shutters are made of solid wood. It is equipped with air conditioning. This ’dollhouse’ is enclosed by a wooden fence and has a small garden. The annex is ideal for guests, rural tourism, or live-in caretakers.
