Costa d’en Blanes is one of the most established residential enclaves on Mallorca’s southwest coast, occupying a hillside position above Puerto Portals within the municipality of Calvia. Puerto Portals, a short drive downhill, provides the primary dining and social infrastructure, with restaurants including Flanigan and Tristan, both long-established fixtures on the Mallorcan dining circuit. The beaches of Illetas are within five minutes by car. Real Golf Bendinat is similarly close. Six international schools operate within the surrounding Calvia area.

Palma city centre is approximately 12 kilometres east, reachable in around 15 minutes via the Ma-1 motorway. Palma de Mallorca Airport lies roughly 18 kilometres away, a journey of under 20 minutes by car, with direct connections to most major European cities and year-round scheduled services to London, Frankfurt, Zurich, and Scandinavia. There is no rail connection to this part of the coast, so a car is essential for daily use.
