A former 1850s manor house with gardens, in the Île-de-France region, 18 kilometres south of Paris. Behind an elegant entrance, made up of a wrought-iron entrance gate and pedestrian gate, a small, paved path leads to the residence and the first walled garden dotted with many types of trees, notably an American black walnut tree. With its large expanses of pink cladding and green wooden shutters, the “Villa Rose” is emblematic of classical Parisian architecture.
