Carrer des Port sits at the heart of Capdepera’s historic centre, a compact medieval town on Mallorca’s northeast coast defined by its well-preserved castle and stone architecture. The street runs close to the main square, Plaça de l’Orient, where the scale is intimate and the pace unhurried. The silhouette of the 14th-century Castell de Capdepera rises above the rooftops, visible from much of the old town, giving this address a sense of place that is rare even by Mallorcan standards.
Plaça de l’Orient is roughly 50 metres away, with cafés and restaurants serving both local and international cuisine. The beaches of Cala Agulla and Cala Mesquida are a short drive, as is the resort town of Cala Ratjada, which offers a marina, additional dining, and a weekly market.
Capdepera is approximately 75 kilometres from Palma de Mallorca by road, a journey of around 55 to 65 minutes via the Ma-15. Palma Airport, the island’s main international hub with direct connections to most major European cities, is roughly the same distance. There is no rail connection to this part of the island, so a car is essential. The nearest ferry port for connections to mainland Spain and other Balearic islands is in Palma.
