Campos is a quiet agricultural municipality in the southern interior of Mallorca, set on a flat plain that opens toward the coast of the Migjorn. It retains a distinctly local character, with a working market town centre built around the parish church of Sant Julià and streets lined with traditional Mallorcan stone architecture. Palma de Mallorca Airport sits roughly 35 kilometres away, a journey of around 30 minutes, with direct connections to most major European cities and year-round scheduled services to Madrid and Barcelona. The south of Mallorca has no rail connection, so a car is essential for daily life in Campos.
