Un extra muy valioso es su propio manantial de agua natural brotando del suelo, ya aprovechado en la época musulmana, que lleva el agua por un canal al gran depósito – safareig, donde beben los animales. En general, proveé una independencia alimentaria total gracias al aprovechamiento agrícola y ganadero, agua propia y muchos recursos naturales en la misma finca. El extenso terreno abarca zonas boscosas de pinos, encinas, algarrobos y otras especies de árboles, además de ricos pastos.
La gran casa principal forma una unidad con la casa de los colonos, pero con accesos separados, además con varias dependencias de todo tipo para mantener una granja con animales (ahora hay ovejas), etc. Antiguamente había también viñedos, y de aquella época quedan grandes barriles de madera para el vino en el almacén más grande.
