Le Tholonet is a small commune on the eastern edge of Aix-en-Provence, defined by its position at the foot of Mont Sainte-Victoire, the limestone massif that Paul Cézanne painted repeatedly from this precise area. The landscape here is unmistakably Provençal: pine and oak woodland, dry-stone walls, and country roads lined with plane trees. The Château du Tholonet and its surrounding parkland anchor the village, and the overall character is one of discreet, well-established residential calm within minutes of a major city.

Marseille Provence Airport is approximately thirty kilometres from Le Tholonet, reachable in around thirty minutes by car, with direct flights to major European and international destinations.
